We are a family owned business, specializing in Sustainable Style, offering the choicest selection of the finest vegetable dyed, hand-knotted wool area rugs being crafted today. No matter what color rug you select at Little River Oriental Rugs, it will be green!

Socially and Globally responsible, your rug purchase supports in-home literacy programs, school building, scholarships and economic betterment in our weaving communities. You can be assured that no child labor was used to craft our heirloom rugs.

We are big enough to provide a large selection of fine rugs, but small enough to provide the personal service that you will appreciate.

Fine rugs

These are the best of the best: vegetable dyed, handspun wools, handknotted, heirloom quality. Rug sales support non-profits to help our weavers and their communities.

no obligation, try before you buy

Buying a fine rug is an investment, both financially and longevity. We want to make sure you're happy with your selection; please view them in your home for a few days.

full immersion hand-wash cleaning

Just as you would maintaing your vehicle, your rug needs to be maintained as well. We offer the only Full Immersion Hand-wash in the Greater Concord area.

Got moths?

Any rugs with live activity need to come to the store bagged / contained. We also offer a Repel treatment to help deter any larvae still in the home from eating your cleaned rug.

padding / underlayment

Padding prolongs the life of your rug, allows for air to circulate, provides non-skid function and also some cushioning underfoot. We offer two types.

custom rug

Can't find the right piece, in the right pattern, colors and size? A custom rug can solve your problems! Though it may take a year or more, you'll get what you wanted and needed.

We have exceptional rugs. Over 800 of them. We personally work with the best of the best being produced in Afghanistan and Pakistan today; we know who is making our rugs. Come look at our photo gallery wall - you'll see the process and our makers as well!

We also have a smaller selection of rugs from India and from Tibetan refugees now in Nepal.

This is our current in-store inventory; it changes frequently as we are constantly buying new rugs and selling.

As always, you are welcome to 'try before you buy'. We ship daily and have no Sales Tax.

Full Immersion HAND-WASH rug CLEANING EXPERTS

We've cleaned thousands and thousands of rugs, and we still treat every one of your rugs like they were one of our own.

Please note, due to the Main St redevelopment, we no longer have a bus stop in front of the store for pick ups and drop off. We are using our basement for wash now, especially for large rugs. The back entrance is accessible on Kennedy Lane, right off of Depot St. We have the only garage door on the block. Please ring the doorbell and we'll be right down. Click here for a visual.
